The PT Skiff is a very fuel efficient, center console runabout that is good looking, has good handling under a range of conditions and speeds, can carry a load, and is incredibly quick with only 20 horsepower. It is a serious boat that can be built complete for less than $10,000.

For builders who have their own sources for materials, the base kit  is practical. The full kit will include epoxy, fillers, fiberglass, consumables, the grates lumber kit, and lots of handy extras.

Material Notes:

EPOXY

We recommend West System Epoxy as being the best choice for this light-weight wood epoxy construction.


PLYWOOD

We cut kits exclusively from Lloyds approved BS1088 Okoume Marine Plywood. It is more expensive but it

is also a far better

product for the

purpose.


LUMBER

The lumber for the kit is hand picked, tight grained Douglas FIR.


FIBERGLASS

Sold separately, this kit contains the recommended fiberglass weights and finishes best suited for Epoxy bonding.
